This is a local social project and we will join the NGO – ”Tavi Draugi” (Your friends).

We need to organize the participants into groups to manage the bus drive to the location (20 minutes).

Once at the warehouse, you will be able to sort, pack and send the donated goods like clothes, food, and medicine to Ukraine.

Church tower

Get a stunning view to the Old town from the St. Peters Church, the tallest church towet in Latvia. It is more than 800 years old and the view from the church tower is stunning!

House of Blackheads

The House of Blackheads is probably the most know landmark of Riga right in the hearth of the Old town. The original building was erected in the 14th century for the Brotherhood of Blackheads, a guild for unmarried merchants, shipowners, and foreigners in Riga.

Central Market

When Riga Central Market was first opened in 1930 it was the largest and most progressive marketplace in Europe. Also, is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site list together with Old Riga since 1998.

The market has five pavilions in the historical buildings – they were originally used as Zeppelin hangars. Every day the Central Market – vegetables, dairy produce, meat, fish, and grocery pavilions, open areas, the manufactured goods market, night market, and Farmer’s day-and-night market.

Museum of occupation

Latvia has been subjected to many occupantions in its history and gained its second independence only 31 years ago. Have a walk through Latvian history in the newly renovated museum that will be finished at the end of the spring 2022.

We might have a chance to visit the museum before it officially opens.
